Communications and information technologies enhance teaching andlearning and improve the quality of formal and informal educationalefforts. Academic, research and extension faculty in the College ofAgriculture and Natural Resources are supported by the DistanceLearning Unit as they integrate new and evolving technologies intotheir course design whether in the traditional classroom or inunique environments available to learners any time, any place.

A team of distance learning professionals within the DistanceLearning Unit provide support at all levels of project development,including project management, instructional design, technologyresources, marketing, evaluation, assessment and administrativeservices.
